A Day in the Life: Nick Kastner
Name: Nick Kastner
What is your title? Director of Brand and Digital Strategy
What does that mean? It depends on what day it is! Generally, I help everyone on the team develop meaningful analytics and digital strategies for their clients, oversee all of the efforts for my clients, and ensure we’re delivering brand strategies for our clients that are consistent across marketing channels. It’s a busy job, but I think it’s an important part of our team.
What’s your favorite thing about the Forum culture? I’ve never worked somewhere like Forum. We all work really well together, it feels like family, and we are all very committed to our clients’ success in every facet of their business. If they win, we win. It’s that simple and it shows in our partnerships and work.
If you weren’t working at Forum, what do you think you would be doing? Probably working client-side in marketing or at a church in communications or creative/technical.
What social media platform do you use most often? Twitter. In my role, I work in all of them but prefer Twitter.
What might you find yourself doing around 10 a.m. on a regular work day? Probably in a client meeting or on the phone with someone on the team. My afternoons are usually when I’m grinding out most of my work.
When you aren’t working what are you doing? Either at soccer, volleyball, or a concert for one of my kids, playing with my band, at church helping with something, or planning our next family adventure – probably to Disney.
Describe yourself in one word: Strategic.
