Hire Heroes USA
Hire Heroes USA helps U.S. military members, veterans and military spouses find new careers. Hire Heroes is considered the most effective veteran employment nonprofit in the country with over 100,000 confirmed hires, 36,000 jobs on its popular job board, and more than 1,450 volunteers.
THE CHALLENGE
Hire Heroes USA originally approached Forum to assist with a problem with an existing Google Ads grant. Once the issue with the grant was rectified, Forum was then approached regarding a new website that would eventually be the platform on which Hire Heroes USA could launch a variety of new digital offerings. The first step in this effort was development of a new website that shared the organization’s offerings to U.S. military members, veterans, their spouses, and prospective donors and partners. The site also needed to fit within the scope of the organization’s recently renewed brand guide.
HOW WE HELPED
The goal for the Hire Heroes USA website redesign was multi-faceted with a focus on the user experience for job seekers and partnering companies / organizations. Each target group’s needs varied but connecting these two groups is the primary purpose of Hire Heroes USA.
We worked with the Hire Heroes USA communications team to develop a beautiful new website that told the organization’s story, simplified the user experience for both job seekers and prospective employers, while also retaining the ability for the organization to gather donations. This work included direct integration with the onboarding platform for U.S. military members, veterans, and their spouses and companies. The platform allows these groups to sign up for their services and/or contact Hire Heroes USA onboarding staff to begin their respective relationship.
